Are you excited about collaborating closely with our Director of Finance to provide top-notch accounting and finance support to our Civil Construction Field Systems sector? Get ready to dive into supporting multiple products within the sector, including On and Off machine, as well as innovative subscriptions and partnering with our joint venture.

What You Will Do

We're looking for a dynamic and driven individual with a strong foundation in accounting and a talent for developing intricate financial analyses and business models. • Provides general accounting, audit, and compliance support to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting, including strong working knowledge of journal entries, SOX controls, and an eye for ever-changing requirements and exceptions.

• Assists in the forecasting and performance reporting process for short-term and long-range planning cycles, working closely with division controller and division leadership, and provides meaningful variance analysis.

• Develops automated reporting and data visualizations, dashboarding, and insightful analysis to drive efficiency, and improve decision-making quality and speed.

• Through in-depth analytical investigation, provides insights into the underlying business trends and drivers, while working with business partners to drive corrective action and forecast future results.

• Produces meaningful variance analysis that tells the underlying story of the business.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (MBA a plus).

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role (preferably in a larger technology-related business).

• Strong understanding of GAAP, including accounting for subscription services, professional services engagements, hardware and software, and construction projects.

• Proven business modeling and forecasting skills required, including modeling of project-based revenues, recurring subscriptions, and carve-out impacts.

• Advanced to expert proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, look-ups, and an ability to quickly ascertain accurate inferences from large data sets.

• Advanced to expert proficiency in G-Suite office tools, specifically Google Sheets and experience with creating polished presentations in Google Slides

• Ability to interrogate, analyze, consolidate, and automate the reporting of information from enterprise reporting systems, including data remediation and creation of dashboards. 

• Oracle, RevPro, DOMO, Access, and Hyperion experience is a plus.
