As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work on gift entry and analysis grants, payroll donations, PTO gifts, pledges, matching gifts, donor advised funds and preparing reports for donors.  After two years of progress on established goals, you would be eligible for step promotion to Senior Financial Analyst II. 

 

A caregiver in this position works 8:00am – 5:00pm.  

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Provide financial or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) data, metrics and standard/ad hoc reporting to support the organization's needs.  

  • Prepare, analyze and communicate key financial information.  

  • Provide support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other issues.  

  • Assist with budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial planning processes.  

  • Retrieve and manipulate complex information with database tools, such as SAS and Teradata.  

  • Consult with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.  

  • Perform special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution. 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance business or a related field  

  • Four years of financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience 

  • OR Master’s degree and three years of experience. 

  • OR  Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience may offset one year of required experience. 

 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) 

  • Experience with gift accounting/finance in a nonprofit setting  

  • Healthcare experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. 

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.  

  • Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.  

  • In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.  

  • In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.
