JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop appropriate financial strategies in accordance with EPD’s strategic objectives.

Provide financial counsel and analysis for proposed strategic growth initiatives.

Drive development and preparation of solid financial business plans (and underlying analysis) to ensure the business delivers its financial commitments.

Prepare periodic financial plans / updates / LBE’s in accordance with EPD Division requirements.

Monitor local operations performance against financial plans/updates/LBE’s and ensure management is advised on exposure issues.

Provide actual monthly and quarterly financial data in compliance with Area, Division and Corporate Reporting requirements.

Ensure integrity of financial books and records, establish and maintain a robust and compliant internal control environment for the business.

Summarize and communicate complex financial situations in a clear/concise manner explaining thought processes and analysis to local Management Team and Area / Division Management.

Support GM in key decisions and ensure responsible investment decisions.

Advise GM in areas of profit maximization, in-licensing/out-licensing, resource prioritization, and day-to-day operations. Anticipate market activities that can impact business. Provide economic/political scenarios.

Provide leadership to build, maintain and develop the Abbott Finance Organization.
QUALIFICATIONS

CPA or MBA Finance preferred

Minimum 5-7 years in a financial leadership (Controlling/Planning) role.

Advanced level spreadsheet experience.

Multi-national exposure is preferred.
