In this role you will run along the cutting edge with an all-star lineup of experts in computer science, software engineering, marketing science, operation research and marketing strategy. You will be actively involved in design and development of the multilayered micro services java application deployed on cloud. This involves working closely with technologies which are trending currently in the market. Also, this position will be responsible for driving the end-to-end platform Deployment and support focusing on aspects like Customer Experience, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipeline and other automation tools. The role will be involved in evangelizing, stabilizing, and defining the platform layer deployment and support. The ideal candidate will have a mindset of owning platform layer as a product offering.

What You'll Bring:

  • This position is to create a SRE team supporting OneDev Suits of Services serving internal customers. 

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of software engineers and technical leads fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. 

  • Drive career growth with regular feedback, performance reviews and opportunities for professional development. 

  • Work closely with Product, Delivery and other cross-functional teams from requirement gathering to post release support. 

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide status updates, manage expectations and address. 

  • Set project timelines, milestones and goals while monitoring progress and course-correcting as necessary. 

  • Make architectural and technical decisions that align with project requirements and best practices. 

Product Strategy  

  • Work closely with the leadership team to refine and create measurable action plans to drive aspects of the company strategy and plan 

  • Lead, operationalize and run the process of the annual three-year rolling strategy plan for the region. Understand and review market landscape and identify relevant business opportunities 

  • Assist with ad-hoc strategic projects for the region for center of excellence, international 

  • Identify and initiate opportunities with partner businesses to enable mining our core and alternative data helping unlock product offerings and business growth 

  • Help solve for business challenges related to business growth, positioning versus competition, new product developments, etc. 

  • Collaborate and lead the cross-functional coordination (product, operations, finance, legal) required to implement 3-year plan and review programs 

  • Responsible for Management Reporting – MBRs, Weekly – CEO Desk, QBRs etc 

Solutions Project Management Office 

  • Ensure regular updates on key ongoing projects in the team incl. bringing attention to key escalation points 

  • Work with relevant teams to provide appropriate presentation material and briefings as required, for key internal / external meetings 

  • Work with Leads to ensure actionable dashboards and updates are available with clear support callouts 

  • Develop and build on relationships across the organization for increased efficiency across the teams 

  • Coordinate across relevant functions for key Intl meetings e.g. Quarterly Review, Monthly Review etc. 

Impact You'll Make:

  • 8+ years’ experience in building Java backend services. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering discipline. 

  • Proven track record of - delivering complex software projects on time and within scope - managing development teams 

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to work effectively across teams 

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, results-oriented mindset. 

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 

  • Familiarity with cloud services and CI/CD practices. 

  • Detailed understanding of platform components like Virtual Infrastructure, Software Defined Data Center and security aspects. 

  • Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation and Network virtualization 

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
