Cloudflare's Americas Marketing Team is looking for a strategic and results-driven Industry Programs Lead to expand our presence within key vertical markets, including financial services, healthcare, retail, and others. This role will be instrumental in shaping and executing targeted industry marketing programs that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth.
As the Industry Programs Lead, you will collaborate closely with regional marketing teams, sales, product marketing, and strategy teams to develop and activate industry-specific initiatives. You will also manage partnerships with key industry associations such as Information Sharing and Analysis Centers (ISACs), HIMSS, National Retail Federation (NRF), and others, ensuring Cloudflare's brand and solutions are effectively positioned within these communities.
Key Responsibilities
Industry Engagement & Events Strategy

  • Lead Cloudflare's presence at industry events, conferences, and Cloudflare-hosted experiences, ensuring a strong brand footprint.
  • Develop and own the event calendar, content strategy, and execution in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive engagement in key verticals through regional roundtables, collaborative content, and digital marketing initiatives.


Program Planning & Execution

  • Build and execute quarterly and annual industry marketing plans, managing budgets, program timelines, and success metrics.
  • Ensure seamless coordination with Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships teams to create impactful campaigns.


Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Monitor and measure program effectiveness using enterprise analytics tools, continuously optimizing for impact.
  • Deliver monthly reports summarizing program performance, key learnings, and next steps.


Sales & Partner Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Business Development (BDR) teams, and partners to align industry marketing efforts with pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Equip sales teams with industry-specific messaging, tools, and campaigns to enhance account engagement.

Market Development & Brand Positioning

  • Strengthen Cloudflare's brand positioning within key verticals by addressing specific industry challenges and use cases.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with industry associations and partners to drive strategic opportunities.

Cross-Functional Alignment & Communication

  • Foster collaboration across regional marketing, product, sales, and executive teams to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Share key learnings, best practices, and post-event insights to refine and elevate future industry programs.

Your Qualifications
7-10 years of experience in field or industry marketing within a $1B+ B2B technology company (cybersecurity or networking preferred).
✔ Proven success in developing vertical-specific marketing programs with measurable business impact.
✔ Direct experience working with industry associations such as ISACs, HIMSS, NRF, and participating in national and regional events.
✔ Strong understanding of lead management, marketing attribution, and enterprise analytics tools.
✔ Hands-on expertise in CRM, ABM, budget management, and reporting platforms.
✔ Ability to build cross-functional relationships and effectively collaborate across teams.
✔ Experience designing integrated marketing programs, including digital, in-person events, and partner-driven initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field (MBA a plus).
Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

  • For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $139,000 - $169,000
  • For New York City, Washington, and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $142,000 - $174,000
  • For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $149,000 - $183,000
