Key responsibilities:
- Provide Comprehensive Sales Support: Deliver robust backend support to customer-facing sales representatives worldwide, ensuring their success and efficiency.
- Sales Documentation: Assist in preparing precise and detailed Proposals/Estimates and Sales Orders in the ERP system and follow up on sales orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Understanding of Solar PV Systems: Demonstrate a foundational knowledge of how solar PV systems work, including the role of solar panels, inverters, and other key components.
- Interpretation of Single Line Diagrams (SLDs): Accurately read, analyze, and interpret SLDs for solar PV systems, ensuring all components and connections are correctly represented.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with internal departments, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure timely delivery of products and services to customers.
- Data Management: Manage and maintain customer databases, sales records, and sales-related documentation with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze sales reports, metrics, and trends to provide insights and recommendations to the Sales Team for informed decision-making.
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and customer-centric manner over email.
- Sales Meetings and Training: Coordinate and participate in sales meetings, training, and events to support the Sales Team in achieving their targets.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize sales processes, tools, and strategies based on market analysis and feedback from the Sales Team.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's (or related experience) degree in business administration, marketing, economics, industrial engineering, or a related field or related experience.
- Positive attitude, strong ability to communicate across departments, and drive to “get the deal done.”
- Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience in sales, consulting, sales support, and sales engineering within a business-to-business environment as an advantage but not mandatory.
- Entry-level candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn will also be considered.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is beneficial for managing sales data and documentation.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to generate reports and provide valuable insights to the Sales Team.
- Customer Focus: A commitment to providing top-notch customer service and building long-term customer relationships.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
