What you will be doing

Gelato sits at the intersection of some of today’s most important trends: the continued rise and embrace of the creator economy, global supply chains, and e-commerce, and building toward a more sustainable future.  These trends are having an impact on how Printers can cost effectively scale their businesses and with GelatoConnect our goal is to provide them with an end to end production platform that helps them take on these global macro trends to profitably scale their operations.  

As an Account Executive in GelatoConnect, you will have a huge impact on our business growth by leading the sales process with prospective customers. You will discover qualified opportunities by responding to inbound interests, targeting outbound prospects, and working closely with our partnerships and network teams to facilitate interest and revenue growth amongst these channels. This is an excellent opportunity to be a founding member of our sales organization and have a great deal of ownership over the sales process and development as our team grows.  As an Account Executive on the GelatoConnect team you will:

  • Own the entire sales process from qualifying leads to negotiating and closing deals
  • Be a trusted advisor to our customers, championing the benefits of GelatoConnect
  • Accurately forecast your revenue results for each month and quarter
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas and revenue targets
  • Maintain excellent hygiene of our CRM to give us insights on how to scale the business
  • Share feedback from the “front line” with Marketing, Network, and Product to improve how we work together to achieve accelerated revenue growth. 
  • Evangelize the macro trends that are impacting printers' ability to scale profitably and help them see GelatoConnect as a way forward.

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in e-commerce, Cloud, AI, or SaaS, and a background in the printing industry. 
  • Thrives in a high growth, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous environment
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue revenue from new clients to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals
  • You have excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • You have familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
