Suki is creating a new category in the health-tech space: the digital assistant. Our product will be the voice user interface for healthcare. Currently, doctors use electronic health record systems to take notes on patient encounters—digital versions of the paper charts that you may have seen in your doctor’s office or on TV. These systems can be hard to navigate and time-consuming to manage. Doctors would rather spend that time with patients.
We are creating the solution. Doctors that use Suki already spend over 70% less time on administrative tasks, and we’re striving to do even better. Come and join us!

Our tech stack includes React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Tailwind, Node.js, Vite, as well as broader technologies like GCP, Kubernetes, Golang, Python, C++, Swift, Kotlin, gRPC, and GraphQL.
What will you do every day?
- Lead and grow a high-performing team of engineers—ranging from junior to staff level—by providing mentorship, setting clear goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Design, and other Engineering teams) to define and deliver a front-end roadmap that directly impacts our doctors’ day-to-day workflow.
- Architect and scale our front-end platform to support thousands of doctors, ensuring our solution is fast, reliable, and secure.
- Drive technical excellence by establishing best practices in software development, code reviews, and front-end architecture (React, TypeScript, Node.js, etc.).
- Champion user experience by working closely with Design and Product to ensure every feature is in service of doctors’ needs.
- Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating new technologies and frameworks, then integrating them where they can produce the greatest impact.

Requirements*
- 10+ years of overall software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on frontend development (React, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- 3+ years of experience managing or leading high-performing engineering teams of various seniority levels.
- Proven track record of shipping complex, user-centric front-end applications and designing large-scale systems.
- Deep understanding of modern frontend architecture—responsive design, accessibility, performance, and security.
- Experience with Node.js and building scalable, distributed services (bonus if you have exposure to microservices and cloud platforms).
- Strong grasp of CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, software design) and excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical decisions.
*Requirements is such a strong word. We don’t necessarily expect to find a candidate that has done everything we’ve listed, but you should be able to make a credible case that you’ve done most of it and are ready for the challenge of adding some new things to your resume.
Working at Suki:
Our hybrid model offers the perfect balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility which includes three days in the office (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) and two days work from home (Thursday and Friday).The role is located in Bangalore and will require working from office three days a week.
