Position Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Email Specialist with expert-level proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to play a pivotal role within our Consumer and Commercial marketing teams. This position will drive the success of our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business growth through retention marketing efforts and support our Commercial Business-to-Business (B2B) initiatives for dealers and landscapers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) at a mid-expert level and be able to leverage its full capabilities to create personalized, data-driven marketing email and sms campaigns. This position will be based in Mooresville, NC.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Retention Marketing (D2C Business):

  • Design and execute advanced email and SMS marketing strategies with a focus on customer retention and engagement, using Salesforce Marketing Cloud as the primary tool.
  • Utilize Journey Builder to create personalized, targeted campaigns to nurture existing customer relationships, enhancing repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud's advanced features such as Automation StudioEmail Studio, and Audience Builder to optimize the effectiveness of retention campaigns.
  • Conduct A/B testing, monitor performance metrics, and optimize email campaigns based on analytics, user feedback, and evolving customer behavior to maximize engagement and conversions.
  • Partner with the eCommerce team to integrate retention strategies with sales acquisition and promotional goals, ensuring alignment and maximizing customer value.

Lead Generation (Commercial Business):

  • Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns for B2B lead generation, specifically for dealers and landscapers, using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create engaging content that appeals to the commercial audience, fostering strong relationships and driving leads through targeted campaigns.
  • Implement drip campaigns and lead nurturing workflows within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring efficient lead management and conversion.
  • Use Automation StudioJourney Builder, and Email Studio to create personalized experiences for B2B prospects, optimizing lead nurturing efforts.

Integrated Support Across Business Units:

  • Ensure email content quality through comprehensive QA checks across different email clients and devices.
  • Manage email deployment schedules and execute post-deployment checks to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
  • Continuously optimize email campaigns by analyzing performance metrics, using A/B testing, and leveraging Salesforce's analytics tools to refine strategies and improve KPIs.
  • Drive audience segmentation and personalization strategies to deliver tailored content to various customer segments, maximizing engagement and conversion.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive reporting dashboards to provide insights into campaign performance and audience behavior. Present these findings to senior management to guide strategy and decision-making.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and capabilities within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and apply this knowledge to keep our email marketing strategies innovative and competitive.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, design, and content creators, to align email campaigns with broader business goals.
  • Lead innovative campaign strategies, offering fresh ideas and solutions that drive creativity and continuous improvement in our email marketing efforts.
  • Engage with senior management to ensure email marketing strategies are aligned with the larger sales and marketing objectives across business units

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, particularly in email campaign design, journey creation, automation, and analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud components, including Journey BuilderAutomation StudioEmail StudioAudience Builder, and Analytics Studio.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and SOQL for developing customized email templates and reports.
  • Experience programming in AMPScript/SSJS (or equivalent marketing software languages) to create dynamic and personalized content.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft ExcelAdobe Suite, and Figma.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification is a plus, but strong hands-on experience in SFMC is essential.

  • Comfortable working on-site in Mooresville, NC, and a strong team player.
