Job Description:
The Director of Talent Management will drive the strategic direction and execution of the organization’s full scope of talent management processes, overseeing Performance Management, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition functions. This role ensures the alignment of people strategies with the organization’s business goals to foster an inclusive, high-performing, and growth-oriented culture. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Director of Talent Management will lead a team of professionals to implement innovative practices that attract, develop, and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Performance Management

Develop and oversee an effective performance management strategy, enabling continuous feedback, growth, and recognition.

Partner with senior leaders to drive a culture of accountability and high performance, ensuring that performance review processes align with organizational goals and objectives.

Design metrics and KPIs to evaluate program success and identify areas for continuous improvement.
2. Learning & Development (L&D)

Create and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy that supports employee career growth, leadership development, and skill-building aligned with organizational goals.

Assess current and future skills needs, and design targeted learning programs that address gaps and prepare employees for future challenges.

Oversee the delivery of L&D initiatives, including e-learning, workshops, leadership training, and high-potential development programs.
3. Talent Acquisition

Partner with Talent Acquisition team to create robust recruitment strategies, ensuring a strong pipeline of diverse and high-caliber talent to meet current and future hiring needs.

Implement best practices for talent assessment, interview processes, and candidate experience to attract and retain top talent.

Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, provide market insights, and guide effective recruitment practices.
4. Strategic Workforce Planning & Analytics

Leverage data and insights to support workforce planning, identifying skill gaps and ensuring that People strategies align with business goals.

Track and analyze key metrics, such as turnover, employee engagement, time-to-fill, and learning impact, to drive data-informed decisions.

Provide insights to senior leadership on talent trends, workforce demographics, and succession planning.
5. Leadership and Team Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of talent management professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Ensure professional growth and development opportunities are available for the team, promoting engagement and retention.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources/People & Culture, Organizational Development/Design, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree and/or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM, PHR) preferred.

8+ years of experience in talent management, including experience in performance management, L&D, and/or talent acquisition.

WorkDay experience strongly preferred.

Proven ability to design and implement talent programs that align with organizational strategies.

Strong understanding of HR best practices and knowledge of labor laws.

Experience leading and developing teams with a collaborative, results-oriented approach.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels.
