What you'll do

Marketing Strategy & Transformation:

  • Collaborate with the SVP of Global Marketing & Brand Strategy and VP, Audience Development to define and evolve the strategic vision and operational model for scaled marketing services, ensuring innovative, efficient, and best-in-class support for our artists and labels. 

Direct Team Leadership: 

  • Lead the Marketing Strategists across multiple US locations and functions, including embedded roles.
  • Provide guidance, strategy,  and foster collaboration and excellence across internal and external partners.
  • Oversee the College & Lifestyle Marketing offering with the services lead. 
  • Responsibilities include idea generation, proposal preparation, supervising the production process, execution, and coordinating within the marketing strategists and additional internal departments.
  • Develop clear expectations and performance standards for the marketing team, fostering innovation and accountability.

Direct Marketing: 

  • Partner with VP, Audience Development to implement and execute fan engagement and data collection campaigns, driving strategic frameworks for CRM and analytics.
  • Feed into and integrate global best practices for audience acquisition, engagement, retention, and data enrichment.
  • Advocate for direct to fan marketing by enhancing label and artist understanding, showcasing best practices, and fostering innovation.

Marketing Operations:

  • Collaborate with Marketing leads and Relationship Managers to standardise workflows, improve efficiency, and optimize tools and data usage.
  • Develop best practice guides to share with internal executives, artists, labels and management acting as a point-of-resource to all the other departments in the company relating to Marketing. 
  • Drive consistent adoption of marketing data and tools.
  • Create and support cross-functional frameworks to streamline campaign execution.

Campaign Execution:

  • Drive marketing strategists across Team rosters to integrate marketing services into artist & label strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal strategists to build out email, website, and SMS campaign strategies to support all new music launches and awareness campaigns, including support for D2C/ e-commerce initiatives.
  • Work with Marketing and Territory leads to develop full-funnel marketing strategies that support development and revenue growth in global markets.
  • Partner with Marketing leads, Relationship Managers and clients to execute large-scale marketing campaigns for global priority and high-potential artists & labels. 
  • Establish clear communication and workflow with the Global Advertising team on paid media campaigns for our clients to ensure successful campaign rollout, monitor campaign performance, and ensure high quality and accuracy.
  • Monitor and assess marketing campaign performance through data-driven insights. Oversee the delivery of campaign reporting to label and internal stakeholders including executive leadership team.

Who you are

  • 8-10 years of marketing experience, with a focus on the music, creative, or entertainment industries.
  • Proven track record as an executive-level marketer with deep expertise in marketing strategies and tools, including social, direct marketing, direct to fan/e-commerce, content, and paid media.
  • Experienced leader with a history of managing and mentoring multifunctional marketing teams as well as building high-performing teams aligned with business KPIs and goals.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making – proven ability to analyze marketing data, extract insights, and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics, demonstrating clear ROI.
  • A change agent skilled in leading across teams and functions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Marketing Analytics & Performance Measurement – Strong experience using data to track, measure, and report on marketing impact, with a focus on revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Marketing Tech & Data Systems – Comfortable working with marketing automation platforms, CRM tools, and DMPs to track and analyze customer journeys and campaign performance.
  • Agile and motivated with a passion for continuous improvement and tech-enabled solutions.
  • Passion for music and a strong grasp of the evolving industry landscape.
  • Creative and takes initiative - capacity to engage, willingness to learn and to share ideas, positive attitude.
  • Ability to be available out of office hours - flexible and nimble working abilities.
  • Motivated, innovative, and meticulous with a high standard for quality and able to multitask across multiple campaigns and projects at once while working under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with varying personalities and communication styles.
  • Analyze market trends: Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer behavior to optimize marketing efforts.
