The Senior Director of Corporate Communications at Armanino plays a dynamic and pivotal role, driving alignment across strategic communications and purpose-driven initiatives. This multi-faceted position requires a blend of visionary leadership and operational excellence to support the firm's mission and values while navigating an evolving business landscape.
Key responsibilities include shaping and leading executive communications, crafting and managing change management strategies, and driving initiatives that amplify Armanino's organizational purpose and cultural ethos. This leader will function as a trusted advisor to the executive team, ensuring that messaging resonates across internal and external audiences and reflects the firm's core values.
The Senior Director of Corporate Communications will collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior leaders, maintaining a high level of confidentiality, visibility and influence within the organization. This partnership-oriented role is essential in advancing Armanino's reputation, employee engagement, and purpose-driven strategy while fostering a unified and forward-thinking organizational narrative.
Job Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of internal communications, ensuring consistency of messaging and brand identity across various platforms and media.

Manage team to deliver strategic and effective communications that reinforce Armanino’s differentiated business and employee value proposition, thereby supporting the firm’s high growth culture

Write and edit executive communications on behalf of a diverse team of leaders, including internal announcements, talking points, speeches, video scripts and email/newsletter correspondence, to support the firm’s rapidly scaling, high-growth business model

Oversee production of social media, multimedia and video featuring the CEO

Maintain editorial quality, timely distribution of announcements, and service level agreements that support leaders in the execution of strategic initiatives

Support leadership, internal brand/marketing team, and external PR agency in crisis management and post-crisis recovery

Lead all communications and event management deliverables for strategic events, including annual Partner Rally, merger and acquisition announcements, quarterly firmwide webinars, and more

Track communications trends and identify new opportunities for increasing effectiveness and impact of messages

Harness data on employee engagement and execute on communication initiatives that affect key reputation drivers

Develop and monitor budgets as well as provide appropriate tracking and trending reports in areas of responsibility, including management of consultant relationships

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field
-
Eight or more years of progressively responsible experience in executive and strategic communications

Experience leading change management, crisis communications, and rapid response efforts in a fast-paced environment

Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex business management concepts into clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences

Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners
-
Professional services and/or corporate experience preferred

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Illinois residents, the compensation range for this position: $175,000 - $225,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
