PMG is looking for a Senior Director of Analytics and Measurement to join our growing Analytics and Data Science practice. Our team is responsible for developing dynamic analytics solutions that integrate data sources across multiple digital marketing channels including Paid Search, Programmatic Display, Social, Video, Affiliate, Brand and Mobile. The Analytics & Data Science practice represents a differentiated, revenue driving capability for PMG and is recognized for driving measurement thought leadership across the agency, our client base and the broader industry.
The Senior Director will play a leadership role in scoping, designing, and delivering analytics solutions to our Communications and Financial Services clients, and will advise our clients on challenges they face related to media measurement. This leader will also be responsible for developing and managing a team of analysts, nurturing their career development. This role is highly visible within PMG, cross-functional with collaboration across internal teams (Media, Client Strategy, Ad Operations, Technology), and client-facing with senior leadership at both current and prospective PMG customers.
General Description
- Proactively managing customer-facing analytics strategy for one or more PMG customer groups
- End-to-end project management; developing project plans (including scope definition, timelines, and deliverables), monitoring progress, providing client status updates, QA analytics or measurement solutions, delivering final results to customers
- Aligning project expectations of agency, customers, and partner stakeholders
- Clearly articulating project goals and objectives to technical and non-technical audiences
- Representing Analytics & Measurement in RFP response and growth presentations, in close collaboration with Business Development
- Developing advanced measurement frameworks, testing plans and roadmaps; executing tests and analyses to assess the impact of marketing campaigns on client business objectives
- Advising senior client leadership on marketing measurement roadmaps including their own technology, data and vendor investment
- Mentoring junior team members and managing overall professional development for Analytics team members
Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of related work experience in analytics, consulting, product management or related field, plus 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Masters degree preferred
- Ability to take abstract business problems and scope/implement an analytical approach that will address the issue for the client
- Expertise and demonstrated thought leadership in marketing measurement approaches, including Media Mix Modeling, lift testing, incrementality testing and diminishing returns analysis
- High level of business acumen; preferably experience in a fast-moving B2C industry
- Working knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and mobile measurement platforms (e.g. AppsFlyer, Singular)
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools (e.g. Datorama, Looker Studio)
- Demonstrated ability to support business development to successfully close new business
- Demonstrated ability to drive alignment between client needs and business capabilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills with proficiency in either PowerPoint or Keynote
- Experience building relationships in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
- High level of emotional intelligence and ability to collaborate with others
