What You’ll Do

Reporting directly to the Vice President Brand Marketing Latin America the Senior DEWALT Brand Manager’s mission is to lead an integrated marketing approach to drive brand consideration and conversion aligned with global brand strategy. You will lead the DEWALT brand team in building the regional marketing plans that would drive to an omnichannel presence for this brand. You will be a part of strategic conversations with the Latin America Leadership team about the most effective ways to deliver our messaging to the end user and identify the right marketing mix that best delivers on the overall marketing objectives.

The Senior Brand Manager will grow top line revenue across the business in Latin America by building compelling and engaging experiences for end users, while keeping customer top of mind and appreciating the buyer’s role. You should expect to drive integrated marketing plans across the Product, Commercial, Brand, Digital and eCommerce teams to ensure plans are focused on the key business and brand priorities.

You are expected to bring your extensive brand experience and analytical skills to bring creative solutions to the brand with a passion for testing and measuring results on marketing mechanics as well as messaging, in combination with team leadership capabilities and growth mindset to work collaboratively with both the global and local marketing organization on the execution of the brand strategy for DEWALT.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, planning and execution of regional integrated marketing strategy and deliver annual and quarterly marketing plans plan from media to shelf in alignment with the local countries
  • Bring new thinking and strategies to life by influencing and working effectively with local and global teams, to ensure alignment of the DEWALT strategy, and getting requirements delivered 
  • Accountable for translating the DEWALT strategy into actionable and comprehensive go-to-market plans to deliver DEWALT growth in Latin America
  • Responsible for developing marketing communication activities and planning and executing the marketing communication campaigns
  • Lead team to execute new product launch campaigns (communication strategy, asset creation, packaging development, media planning & executions).
  • Lead the strategy across the entire digital marketing playbook of paid, owned, and earned channels including SEO/SEM, paid and organic social, influencer, retargeting and beyond
  • Proactive explore and test new campaign types, tactics and strategies in collaboration with the digital team to create system of continual optimization and improvement
  • Understand the product technology, and translate this to a clear communication strategy with messaging priorities that best work for the Latin America market
  • Effectively use market and end-user insight to influence GTM plans
  • Work with corporate marketing and commercial teams to bridge and leverage PR (DEWALT trades program), corporate and sponsorship marketing (McLaren sponsorship) as part of the integrated marketing programs
  • Responsible for monitoring and managing the regional budget for the brand
  • Manage in collaboration with digital team regular reporting and tracking, interpret implications, report metrics appropriately and flag issues regarding all digital platforms (website, social media, etc.) using both internal and external tools
  • Synthesize data to "tell the story” rather than just reporting numbers
  • Continuously evolve and understand the local and regional competitive landscape
  • Collaborate easily in a matrixed organization; bring together and hone cross-functional working relationships across global brand management, digital marketing, insights, packaging, content creation, product marketing, commercial and eCommerce; leverage strengths of the group while holding it accountable for seamless execution that defies silos
  • Manage and develop internal talent within the marketing organization to drive their career growth

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in any discipline; MBA preferred
  • Experience working in a company with global, regional and local marketing departments
  • 8+ years of experience in brand marketing including digital marketing and omnichannel execution, running campaigns in a regional context
  • 5+ year experience with marketing innovation in a SKU-intensive brand and multiple launches throughout the year
  • Prior team leadership of functional experts working regionally
  • Experience coaching and developing broader team members throughout a matrix organization
  • Referenceable track record of influence across a global company and executive leaders in a matrix environment
  • Working knowledge of content management systems, product information management systems, and digital assets management platforms
