The Role:
As a member of the Data Engineering organization, you will have the opportunity to work with a rich and rapidly growing dataset. Join our team responsible for providing the data that delivers key insights on how our systems perform in the field.
What You'll do:

  • Design, build, and maintain infrastructure and systems for data collection.
  • Manage data collection configurations in existing systems.
  • Monitor, optimize, and modernize existing methods of data capture.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
  • Develop new processes and methods for configuring in-vehicle data capture
  • Ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Understand the signals in the vehicle, the purpose and use of the data, and ensure signal fitness for purpose.
  • Work with business partners on data-related issues and develop solutions to support their data needs
  • Develop, execute, and manage data validation tests.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with in-vehicle communication networks.
  • Experience with big data technologies (such as Azure).
  • Strong programming skills, particularly in Python.
  • Ability to tackle problems quickly and completely
  • Ability to identify tasks which require automation and automate them
  • A demonstrable understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment


What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Skills)

  • 5+ years of experience with in-vehicle communication networks.
  • 5+ years of experience with big data technologies (such as Azure).
