Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain internal data platforms for scalable storage of energy sector data
- Architect and implement robust, scalable, and reliable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and integrate time series data from multiple sources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data models that support business analytics and forecasting
- Develop dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders
- Drive best practices for data quality, security, and performance optimisation
- Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering standards
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or similar field
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in data engineering roles.
- Proficient in Python and SQL for large-scale data transformations of time series data
- Extensive experience with Databricks (Lakehouse Architecture), Azure cloud services, and Power BI
- Strong understanding of DataOps and DevOps principles
- Strong interest in data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical), ETL development, and data warehousing
- Full professional proficiency in English
