NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of  Senior Coordinator, Influencer Content based in our Concord, North Carolina office.

The Senior Coordinator, Influencer Content identifies and engages influencers/content creators to expand and amplify the NASCAR Brand. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Strategically identify influencers/content creators and assist in outreach to grow the league's expanding network.
  • Manage activation planning, logistics, on-site hosting, and identification of immersive content opportunities for individual experiences at track.
  • Report on campaign/project results and leverage metrics to provide valuable insights.
  • Partner with workgroup to execute the Influencer Strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal NASCAR teams to coordinate activations at league races and in-market events.
  • Stay ahead of emerging pop culture and social media trends to create new content opportunities across platforms that currently have limited or no NASCAR presence.
  • Work with legal to develop creator agreements, utilizing knowledge of Federal Trade Commission Guidelines (FTC) and standard deal points.
  • Ensure timely processing of accounting payments and reimbursements.
  • Identify, develop and execute new business opportunities that will enable and deepen fan engagement.
  • Travel: 25%, including weekends.

Required skills / experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university A minimum of four (4) years experience in communications, marketing, business, or related field, including corporate social media experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Fluency in Spanish preferred.
  • Proficient on all Company-provided hardware and software. Knowledge of social media content management and reporting platforms.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Believes in the power of authentic influencer partnerships and understands the value of finding the right voices to amplify the NASCAR brand. 
  • Proactive with a strong perspective on the influencer and social media landscape
  • A keen eye for emerging trends and a desire for storytelling through social content.
  • Advanced working knowledge of social media content management and reporting platforms 
  • Passion for digital and social media
  • Experience working with sports and entertainment properties preferred
  • Video editing experience preferred
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and can multi-task while meeting deadlines with a tight turnaround time
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the drive to develop new processes and ideas to be more efficient.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
