JOB DESCRIPTION:

Maaco is currently seeking a Franchise Marketing Coordinator who will report into the Sr. Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will become part of a truly collaborative team where new ideas are always welcomed and encouraged.  With over 300 franchise partners across North America, this is a fast-paced position which will demand that you bring energy, execution, and your “A” game to work each day. You will be responsible for partnering at the local level to deploy and manage all marketing and advertising efforts as well as collaborate across the company to develop and communicate national and regional branding strategies to drive sales and bring more cars to the door for Maaco franchise partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

Marketing

  • Work directly with Maaco franchise owners to assist with local level marketing initiatives.

  • Provide recommendations for local level marketing and events.

  • Assist in building and executing local media plans for multiple DMAs/Regions across the franchise system.

  • Hold one-on-one communications with DMAs and franchisees across system.

  • Develop relationships across franchise system to gain support and trust.

  • Work with leadership on innovative new ideas and strategies to improve the Maaco brand.

  • Work and assist agency partners to manage marketing and promotional campaigns across digital media channels, TV, radio, print and mobile as required.

  • Understand weekly and monthly sales data that relate to the business and how you can move the needle with marketing.

  • Work across all departments to provide recommendations or adjustments to meet quantitative and qualitative goals.

  • Some travel required

Communications

  • Effectively communicate to stores and across departments.

  • Internal reports and presentations on the opportunities, needs, success, and general marketing activities of assigned territory.

  • Experience in utilizing social media to create brand awareness, engage clients, and facilitate public education and awareness is helpful.

Creative Eye

  • The ability to update simple graphics

  • Have a keen eye for what “looks good” in presentations, in marketing materials, and on social media accounts

Digital Marketing

  • Monitor online accounts, update store hours and simple data on (Google My Business, Yelp, etc.) as required.

  • Assist with maintaining SEM, SEO efforts and paid media efforts as required.

  • Provide quarterly marketing reports to stores and DMA’s/Regions.

Measurement and Analytics

  • Work with the analytics team to monitor metrics.

  • Work with operations coaches to provide any necessary data or tools to improve performance on a local level.

New Openings/Resales

  • Partner across the brand to facilitate a seamless grand opening or transition, to include pre-opening marketing and visibility plan and execution, new franchisee marketing training, and suggesting budget allocation

  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy of current digital listings and providing pre-opening guidance for all social platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, public relations/communications or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in marketing

  • Strong working knowledge of communication principles and practices

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to create and deliver presentations

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and monitor a marketing strategy

  • Collaborative working style to interface with marketing team and vendor partners

  • Strong alignment with Maaco's Mission, Vision and Values

  • Self-starter that excels in a performance driven environment is detailed oriented and able to thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time

  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills (Office product suite)

  • Proficient problem-solving skills

We are targeting an annual base salary of $60,000- $65,000 with a 10% annual bonus opportunity.
