As a Senior Controller within the Controlling & Reporting team, you will be a crucial link between the finance department and other business units, providing insightful financial analysis and strategic guidance to drive informed decision-making. Your mission is to ensure accurate financial reporting, optimize controlling processes, and support the business in achieving its financial goals through effective collaboration and strategic insight. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive financial information, facilitating budget and forecast development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. By leveraging your expertise, you will identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and strategic investments, thereby contributing to the long-term success and sustainability of the organization.
Responsibilities and objectives:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights to business units.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.
- Monitor financial metrics and provide regular updates and recommendations to improve business performance.
- Implement and maintain effective cost control measures.
- Collaborate with business units to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Act as a financial advisor to business units, providing guidance on financial matters.
- Facilitate effective communication between finance and other departments.
- Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting and controlling.
- Streamline workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support long-term strategic planning and financial modeling.
- Assist in evaluating potential investments and business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, as a public company.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial insights.
- Present financial information clearly and effectively to various audiences.

Ad-Hoc Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
- Support special projects and initiatives with financial expertise.
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and implement relevant changes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial controlling and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Fluent in English. A high level of Spanish is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
