Description

Cobalt is seeking a Senior Content Marketing Writer to elevate our in-house content program and support the execution of complex marketing campaigns. You will craft high-quality, engaging content for every stage of the buyer’s journey, ensuring alignment with key cybersecurity trends and business objectives. Additionally, you will serve as the primary editor, ensuring a consistent style, tone, and voice across all written materials. This role will position Cobalt as a leader in Offensive Security while driving customer engagement and decision-making.

What You'll Do

  • Create high-quality written content such as whitepapers, guides, reports, and blog posts.
  • Collaborate with product marketing to highlight the value of Cobalt’s pentesting and Offensive Security offerings as well as our key differentiators.
  • Develop content for every stage of the funnel and across all products and buying centers. 
  • Serve as the primary editor to ensure consistent style, tone, and voice across all written content.
  • Development and enforce adherence to Cobalt’s style guide across marketing written materials.
  • Leverage insights from industry reports, cybersecurity trends, and competitive analysis to inform written content.

You Have

  • 3-5 years of experience writing and editing content for cybersecurity audiences. 7+ years of general marketing or sales experience.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in the security space required, familiarity with pentesting and other Offensive Security concepts a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and functions.

Pay Range Disclosure (For US openings only)

Cobalt is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is ($104,000 - $130,000) per year + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.  The salary range may differ in other states and may be impacted by proximity to major metropolitan cities.
