The Corporate Tax and Trust team is seeking a passionate and talented Cloud Engineer to help us in planning, design, development, management, maintenance and support Tax Applications on Cloud. The ideal candidate should have good experience in cloud computing, with firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, applications and ability to customize them to make our Products more secure and efficient.
About the role:
In this opportunity as Senior Cloud Engineer, you will:
- Hands on experience with AWS (must) and any other cloud providers (Good to have) and its related services.
- Should have good knowledge on SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service) or IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) solutions.
- Should have good knowledge on Database technologies including SQL and NoSQL.
- Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.
- Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks.
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
- Responsible for configuring debugging technical issues inside a complex technology stack involving AWS, ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda, Route53, VPC and various cloud offerings.
- Good to have knowledge on Programming languages such as Java, .NET and Scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell and Shell.
- Work in a highly collaborative and dynamic agile team environment with multiple levels of technology staff across various geographical locations.
- Good to have knowledge on Infrastructure automation and monitoring tools such as Ansible, Packer, AWS CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Data Dog etc..
About You:
You're fit for the role of Senior Cloud Engineer, if your background includes:
- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience on relevant to functional area and minimum 6 years of Cloud infrastructure experience is required.
- Proactively gain knowledge about functionalities of Company’s product offerings for ensuring smooth operations.
- Proactively maintain and manage the cloud environment of the products.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues which include following escalation paths, both internally and externally and liaison with cloud vendors.
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
- A self-starter who can collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team.
- Apply principles of trust, transparency, accountability and ownership.
- Keep up to date with emerging cloud technology trends – open source and cloud vendors such as AWS and Azure.
