Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Azure subscriptions, resources, and services.
- Azure DevOps Pipelines hands-on experience with Terraform modules
- Monitor Azure infrastructure for performance, availability, and security.
- Implement and maintain Azure security best practices, including access controls, network security, and data encryption.
- Deploy and configure virtual machines, virtual networks, and other Azure resources.
- Manage Azure Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, and policies.
- Design and implement Azure backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and troubleshoot Azure-based applications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Azure-related issues.
- Stay current with Azure technologies and best practices, and recommend improvements to optimize our Azure environment.
- Document Azure configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Good to have Azure DR and Backup experience
- Good to have Linux administration experience
- Automate the infra with Powershell, Ansible and terraform.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator or equivalent.
- Total 5 – 10 years overall experience with 3+ years of experience managing Azure cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of Azure services, including VMs, networking, storage, databases, and identity.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for Azure automation and management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Experience with Azure Operations with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
