Job Description
Kubernetes I Cloud Native I Autonomous Cloud I Continuous DeliveryI Release Automation | GitOps | Platform Engineering

  • Lead and prioritize the team backlog by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure it is well-maintained and conceptually sound.
  • Craft and align user stories, ensuring they are well-defined, aligned with the product strategy, and clarifying any details as needed.
  • Take part in building a self-service Kubernetes platform for software promotion by leveraging cloud-native tools like Argo CD, Crossplane, Helm, etc.
  • Build and maintain the Cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure forming the base of our platform
  • Take ownership of product components, implementing new features, maintaining them, and keeping your team's technical debt small
  • Ensure that delivering and releasing software on our Cloud-based Kubernetes platform works like a charm for development teams by following GitOps principles
  • Drive architectural and design decisions regarding components owned by your team
  • Balance stakeholder perspectives by acting as the team's gatekeeper and considering various inputs.
  • Stay on top of technology trends and adopt new cloud technologies and best practices to improve the quality of our platform


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructureor platform engineering as a Senior Engineer, tech lead or similar
  • Team player with experience ensuring high-quality standards, maintainability, and a focus on automation
  • Technical studies related to software engineering (or similar experience)
  • Excited to learn new technologies and challenge the status quo
  • Experience with Cloud hyperscalers (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
  • Experience with Infrastructure Automation tooling (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
  • Experience in a programming language (e.g. Python, Go, Java, etc.)
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with cloud-native tools like Crossplane and ArgoCD
  • Nice-to-have: Experience as a product owner or similar role

Compensation and rewards

  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 56,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
