What You'll Do
A successful Senior Cloud Engineer will own initiatives that include but are not limited to the below:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security.
• Monitor system health and optimize efficiency
• Develop automation scripts for streamlined operations using Infrastructure as Code.
• Identify cost reduction and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with teams to deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud applications.
• Oversee deployment pipelines for smooth code integration and delivery.
• Implement and manage security measures, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
• Troubleshoot incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and prevent future issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud infrastructure with project needs.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the cloud solution lifecycle.
• Maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, and processes.
• Stay informed on cloud best practices and emerging trends.

What You May Need to be Successful:

• 4-6 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure and applications
• Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Proficiency in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Bicep, 
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker,).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell). 
• Experience designing and maintaining large-scale cloud environments. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and incident response experience.
