Job Description
The Senior Cloud Architect will play a pivotal role in driving MAXISIQ’s digital transformation and accelerating its growth within the industry. This position is instrumental in delivering high-quality, enterprise-level solutions that harness the latest technology advancements, fostering sustainable development and facilitating business expansion. What You'll Be Doing:
As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will lead multidisciplinary teams in crafting comprehensive enterprise cloud strategies. Your responsibilities span the entire cloud adoption lifecycle, from initial assessments and design to proof-of-concepts, documentation, planning, execution, and ongoing optimization. By leveraging your expertise, you will guide MAXISIQ in maximizing the benefits of cloud technology, positioning the company for long-term success in a rapidly evolving landscape.
- Designing, developing, implementing, and testing technical solutions based on business requirements
- Identifying potential issues and implementing solutions proactively
- Serving as the technical subject-matter expert and a resource for technical escalation
- Identifying enhancement opportunities and assisting in developing them across the enterprise through innovation and automation
- Enabling faster and smarter business processes
- Engaging with senior managers regularly, reporting on project status, activities, and achievements
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
Education:
- BS degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Fifteen years of combined computer/network architecture experience and five years within the past eight years of experience in Cloud Architecture is acceptable in lieu of degree.
Certifications:
- IAT Level III
Clearance:
- U.S. Citizen
- Minimum of a Secret Clearance
- Willingness to be read on to NATO
Experience:
- 10 years technical and/or management experience on US Army or DoD programs and projects that provided expert software O&M of Army enterprise systems.
- 5 years technical and/or management experience supported industry and/or Government sector cloud initiatives at an enterprise level.
- 1 year within the past 3 years of experience defining organizational project cloud migration objectives and requirements that map to enterprise cloud vision and/or initiatives, establishing system architecture, ensuring IA compliance, directing, coordinating, and completing project efforts, interfacing with Government personnel, and providing progress reports.
- 3 years within the past 5 years of experience with commercial CSPs (AWS or Microsoft Azure) in cloud- based disaster recovery (DR) and multi- region / multi-availability zone (AZ) high availability (HA) (AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, and/or if needed for the new CSPs).
