The Senior Business Process Analyst, Information Systems works under the direction of the SAP LE Manager. Works to understand client business functions and requirements, to expertly evaluate existing, new, and emerging technology and / or applications, which may provide solutions for the requirements and to provide expertise and assistance in implementing the solution to the client's satisfaction. The candidate understands the Nordson organizations and locations while keeping up to date on new business development.

The primary role of the Senior Business Process Analyst, Information Systems – SAP Logistics Execution is to manage, execute, and lead projects.  Additionally, provide application support as required. Be able to work individually or as a team member.

This requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in SAP LE area as well as basic knowledge and their integration for other SAP modules MM, WM, PE, CR, and FICO. Always focused on best practice and innovation.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in the Logistics Execution Module in SAP ECC and S4 is a must.

• Candidate should have experience with 2 or 3 SAP implementation projects with at least one being an SAP S4 implementation project.

• A Bachelor Degree in Information Science, Business, Finance, Math, Engineering or other technical / business field is required.

• Minimum of 8-12 years of Information Systems experience with 6 years of SAP Logistics Execution experience required.

• Logistics Execution certification is required, with certifications in other SAP modules a plus.

• Solid understanding of the master data used to support the Logistics Execution area.

• Global experience is a plus, with emphasis on European Intrastat reporting.

• Project management skills are a plus

Role and Responsibilities:

• Owning and leading LE projects and tasks

• Partner with the PMO to ensure timely and consistent delivery of projects

• Provide expert functional knowledge

• Ensure the project management system is timely and consistently updated to reflect project statuses

• Ensure integration with other functional areas and work well with other teams

Functional Ownership - means:

• Follow / innovate the baseline for the functional area - Drive implementation of standard processes while meeting customer needs

• Is self-driven to have current knowledge of SAP innovations

• Understanding the capabilities of SAP's tools and knowledge what the software can and cannot do

• Have a mindset of continuous improvement and simplification when designing solution approaches

• The candidate must have an expert understanding of the functional or technical area assigned and a good understanding of the interrelationships with other functional areas and strive to keep current on new technology development.

•Have a good understanding of the processes before and after the area of expertise with a great cross functional understanding

• Assist / Prepare status reports to leadership, providing insights into project status, risks

•Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, priorities, and expectations. Support development of business cases.
