About the Role
This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday to Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
As Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will lead the analysis of complex business challenges and identify new and different operational processes within the store environment and the operating model. You will drive and implement departmental and company strategic initiatives that result in measured operating efficiencies and improved customer and associate experience.
Job Description
What You’ll Do

Compile financial or operational information on complex data sets

Prepare and summarize data, comparing actual or expected results to prior period or plan

Identify trends and outliers to inform partners
-
Ensure accuracy and reconciliation of information prior to communication
-
Utilize business acumen and knowledge to be a thought partner on the action partners can take from the reporting to streamline the creation of the reporting

Conduct analysis, provide recommendations and drive implementation
-
Leverage data and business experience to make informed recommendations that drive operational efficiencies and customer experience

Evaluate broad business impacts related to recommendation outcomes

Influence cross-functional partners on existing initiatives and identify opportunities for future initiatives

Function as the subject matter expert for processes, data and business partners

Simplify and communicate results and recommendations with senior leaders

Develop Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to support complex business needs, following BI development best practices and innovative use of appropriate technologies and systems

Understand, drive and implement new methods, technologies and systems that enhance current and future BI solutions

Consult with partners to identify KPIs required to support critical business decisions

Utilize knowledge and expertise to question and influence partners on the true outcomes that solutions are driving

Be the point of contact and partner with the BI team to develop end-to-end project timelines for BI solutions

Drive business teams in all phases of BI development projects, including requirements gathering, design, testing and change management

Identify and collect primary and secondary data variables with complex data sets and enhanced logic to holistically answer business questions

Present recommendations and influence IT partners to optimize data structures and drive greater insights

Identify and set up processes for data quality checks

Review and present development with senior leaders across departments as well as to field partners

Develop and enhance training curriculum and best practices documentation around BI solutions

Present and train completed reports and dashboards to business partners and follow up to ensure understanding of insight implications

Cross-train team members on the process of pulling complex data and basic data engineering

What Skills You Have
Required
-
3+ years Business Intelligence experience
-
Advanced SQL skills
-
BI Dashboard and Report Development skills using Tableau, MicroStrategy or similar BI tools
-
Data warehousing, data wrangling and problem-solving skills
Preferred

Advanced degree (CPA, MBA, etc.)

Retail experience or retail operations business acumen
