Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business and Contracting Project Management Specialist to join the Laser Technical Services team in Albuquerque, NM. 

In this position you will be responsible for supporting the development and negotiation of highly complex purchase and sales proposals and contracts. The position is also responsible for supporting the execution of major programs by leading various cross-functional project teams to develop plans and schedules for the execution of contractual obligations, prepare contract reports and other deliverables, and manage execution against contractual requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversees the presentation and development of complex business solutions to preserve and expand the business
• Oversees and performs on teams participating in the preparation, negotiation, execution, interpretation and administration of highly complex contractual agreements
• Provides a strategic perspective in negotiating and contracting for the purchase and sale of ground system products, services, and technologies to support company strategies
• Supports the program management team and authorized functions (Contracts Management, Supplier Management) in external negotiations with a diverse set of customers and suppliers
• Ensures strategic alignment and partnership with other internal functional disciplines such as Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and Supplier Management
• Summarizes highly complex issues, oversees and consults on the development of creative solutions and coordination of program risk mitigation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 10+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Program Management, Project Management, Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• 10+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining relationships with customers and/or suppliers
• 10+ years of experience drafting, proposing, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

This position is for 1st shift.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $140,000 - $171,000
