For Linklaters Service Delivery Centre Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the Senior Business Analyst role.

Your role

The successful candidate will be part of a team of Business Analysts who form part of the broader Linklaters’ Projects and Change Delivery group. The Business Analysis team are a high performing, supportive and inclusive team, working on global business change and technology programmes and projects in close collaboration with lawyers and other Business Teams.

  • The Senior Business Analyst is a highly experienced and capable analyst, leading the BA activities on the most complex, high profile and business critical projects and programmes. Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders across Business Teams, lawyers (including partners) and third-party suppliers.

  • Engage in Business Analysis to the highest standards across the full project lifecycle covering problem statement definition, requirements management, process mapping, business change analysis, operating model design, data and financial analysis and running UATs.

  • Work collaboratively to understand and define scope / objectives / benefits of new projects / programmes and agree BA deliverables along with timeframe for delivery.

  • Run large and complex workshops with diverse stakeholder groups, in person, virtually or a hybrid format. Elicit requirements within Waterfall or Agile methodologies and document functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Support any third party selection processes by providing the business requirements.

  • Promote the value of Business Analysis across the firm and why the role is pivotal to the successful outcome of a project / initiative. Advocate and conduct knowledge sharing across the BA Team.

Your experience

  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience with experience working across large and complex projects and programmes spanning multiple geographical locations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently communicate with the business at all levels of seniority in their language and translate these conversations to technology teams (and vice versa). Proven experience of working with a wide range of business stakeholders including heads of function or lawyers / Partners.

  • Significant experience of a wide variety of business analysis industry knowledge, methods and tools, including Azure DevOps, Mural, Visio, Tableau, Power BI, Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), Business Process Modelling Notation, Waterfall and Agile Delivery, UAT test scripts, Workshops and RFPs.

  • Comfortable and adept at dealing with ambiguity, conflicting priorities, complex and technical information with an ability to flex style as needed to communicate clearly and concisely.

  • Strong documentation, processing mapping, listening. questioning and process mapping skills. A background of working on financial process or process optimisation projects would be useful.
