The Role
At SellerX we are growing our Finance Department and now we are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role you will be able to manage the financial operations for our U.S. entities and subsidiaries. Based in Ortigas, Philippines, this role will work closely with the Accounting Manager in the U.K. and contribute to the efficient financial management of our U.S. operations.

Your Responsibilities in Detail
- Assist with statutory accounting, management reporting, daily transactions, and month-end closings, focusing on sub-consolidation of U.S. entities with subsidiaries in the U.K. and Philippines.
- Record sales and accounts receivable (AR) for e-commerce marketplaces, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
- Conduct multi-currency bank reconciliations across 30+ accounts, ensuring proper alignment of records.
- Handle general ledger accounting for AR, inventory, operating expenditures (Opex), and capital expenditures (Capex).
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month-end close process.
- Contribute to profit and loss analysis for budgeting and financial planning, including contribution margin reports.
- Collaborate with teams in Hong Kong and Europe to ensure seamless month-end closings, accounting transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners on monthly reports, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable, tax matters, and audit requirements.
- Support finance operations with system and SOP implementations, driving process efficiency.
- Participate in various ad hoc projects as assigned.
Your Background
- Degree in Accountancy or a related business discipline
- Strong understanding of accounting principles with over 5 years of relevant experience
- Skilled in data accuracy and able to manage large volumes of data independently
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks across different time zones
- Proficiency in financial ERP systems (NetSuite) and Excel
- Fluent in English with strong professional communication skills
- Adaptable and solution-oriented, with a positive, proactive mindset
- Team-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic environment
