The Toast Product Marketing team is responsible for connecting the Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to inform product development and bring new products to market through customer segmentation, value-based messaging, sales knowledge transfer, and cross-functional marketing activation. In this position, you will play a crucial role in driving portfolio pricing strategy and execution across our entire product suite. This is a high-impact role that will offer senior leadership exposure and the opportunity to influence pricing strategies that drive long-term revenue growth.
In this role, you will help craft compelling value narratives, conduct market research, and enable our sales and customer success teams to effectively communicate pricing and value to customers. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with strong communication skills and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Marketing and Pricing teams to develop and execute strategic pricing initiatives that drive growth and customer value
- Create clear, compelling pricing and value messaging materials to support marketing efforts and empower sales teams
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform pricing strategies, including customer interviews, market analysis, and competitive intelligence
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Customer Success to develop pricing-focused training materials, sales collateral, and value communication frameworks
- Support the development and execution of pricing tests and experiments to optimize our pricing strategy
- Maintain knowledge of restaurant industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform pricing decisions
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing Operations, Customer Marketing, PR, and Legal to ensure aligned pricing communication and execution
Experience/Qualifications
- 2-3 years of work experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Experience in product marketing, pricing strategy, or related fields preferred
- Undergraduate degree required
- Strong analytical capabilities with ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience with Marketo is a plus
- Background in SaaS pricing or restaurant technology is a plus
- Proven track record of project management and execution

This position requires extensive coordination across multiple departments including Finance, Pricing, Product Management, FinTech, Billing, Toast Creative teams, Sales Enablement, Customer Success Enablement, Marketing Operations, Customer Marketing, PR, Investor Relations, and Legal. The ideal candidate will be a natural collaborator who can build strong relationships across teams and navigate complex stakeholder environments while maintaining focus on strategic objectives.

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.

$95,000—$152,000 USD
