Enterprise Brand is seeking a talented Senior Associate to join the Brand Sponsorships and Experiential Marketing team. In this role you will provide support for event ticket asset management, brand governance and project management support for ongoing experiential programs. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and driven, with a strong growth mindset, and is interested in learning more about our Brand and our sponsorship programs. You're a tech forward thinker and embrace new technology. A quick thinker, your flexibility and adaptability are key to constantly changing demands and priorities. Strong communication skills are critical including the ability to confidently interact with customers, associates and executives. The Brand team is responsible for positioning and differentiating the Capital One brand and empowering teams across the enterprise to deliver a cohesive and powerful brand experience - to our associates, customers, prospects and the community at large.
What you'll do
Experience and Ticket Management

  • Support the planning, development, and implementation of onsite experiences for tentpole sponsorships, select sponsorship and experiential marketing efforts
  • Work with lead Program Manager to continue our focus on creating and maintaining an efficient, customer first event ticket experience
  • Own day-to-day event ticket needs in a well managed way
  • Support the management of our Suite and venue portfolio
  • Support Capital One Entertainment portal through planning and inventory management


Brand Governance

  • Review, assess enterprise sponsorships for strategic fit and risk, as part of a well-managed governance process
  • Spearhead periodic communications and reporting to document governance decisions and outcomes
  • Be a dot-connector, serving as a bridge between Brand Sponsorships, Brand Governance and a variety of specialized subject matter experts within the Brand department


Project Management

  • Drive efficiency by serving as a central point of contact for broader Enterprise communications and operation needs
  • Provide project management support to the broader team, helping to manage multiple program timelines and deliverables, managing numerous concurrent projects
  • Finance administrative duties including PO creation, invoicing and reconciliation as needed
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with partners across many different internal and external partners
  • Communicate effectively with customers and key stakeholders at all levels

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a marketing role


Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in sponsorships and experiential marketing, or marketing event planning, or a combination of both
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in project management with the ability to explore solution-oriented approaches based on project-specific needs
  • General knowledge of corporate level event ticketing to include mobile ticket distribution
  • Experience with a Ticket Asset Management platform (such as TicketManager)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Richmond, VA: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Associate, Brand
McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900 for Sr. Associate, Brand
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
