We’re looking for a Sr. Art Director who will work in partnership with Copywriters and other team members to establish conceptual direction, design, and execute assigned marketing initiatives involving new product introduction, advertising, direct and digital marketing, product marketing, corporate image, brand identity and experiential techniques. In addition to actively concepting and designing campaigns, Sr. Art Directors may oversee the work of other designers.
 

Reporting to and partnering closely with an Associate Creative Director, this hands-on role requires a track record creating conceptual design solutions that drive growth for the business. You will contribute to elevating our creative solutions to world-class, award-winning levels while producing measurable results against business objectives. Collaboration across regional and global teams and amongst all creative disciplines and agency partners will be required.

Let’s talk about Responsibilities:

  • Direct and/or design concepts from initial development through refinement of direction and final execution including sketches, storyboards, graphic concepts, wireframes, prototypes and final deliverables.
  • Oversee aspects of design work done by assigned Art Directors, Visual and Graphic Designers, Production Artists, Animators, Web Designers, Photographers, Motion Designers, Videographers, and similar roles within external agencies.
  • Provide creative thought leadership in the development of high-quality, conceptual, visual design projects.
  • Participate in creative kick-off meetings, brainstorming sessions and client presentations.
  • Contribute to internal design reviews with assigned team members and offer constructive feedback to elevate the solutions.
  • Inspire and mentor junior designers to help them grow and improve their skills.
  • Follow a creative brief and work with Project Managers to ensure projects are clearly outlined and estimated.
  • Present work among peers, colleagues, managers and stakeholders
  • Oversee the work of suppliers engaged in support of creative production (e.g. print suppliers) to ensure production aligns to original creative as needed
  • Develop a deep understanding of ResMed audiences and their journeys to identify ways our creative can be most effective in driving results.
  • Build strong, trusted partnerships with peers and key constituents across the organization.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence that enables best-in-class creative.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in art or design.
  • 8+ years of professional design experience in advertising and marketing creating campaign concepts and materials.
  • Strength in creating campaign concepts that flow seamlessly across channels including both print and digital formats.
  • Experience creating consistent brand experiences across all touch points and to push and evolve the brand.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to apply creative and design to solving complex business goals.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and flexible in adapting and responding to changing situations.
  • Exceptional people and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with emphasis on creative “pitching” of concepts.
  • Mastery of primary Adobe Creative Cloud applications including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD and Figma.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office and Teams.
  • Experience with project management systems such as Asana and Workfront a plus.
  • Knowledge of HTML 5, CSS and ActionScript a plus but not required.

Employees accrue three weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) in their first year of employment, receive 11 paid holidays plus 3 floating days and are eligible for 14 weeks of primary caregiver or two weeks of secondary caregiver leave when welcoming new family members. Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills. 

This role is eligible to receive an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance. 

Base Pay Range for this position: 

$118,000- $148,000

  

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
