Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support the implementation of internal communication plans that align with GIS' strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Create, edit, and distribute engaging content for various internal communication channels, including email, intranet, newsletters and social media.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
  • Manage and maintain the GIS communications calendar, ensuring timely and relevant updates.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Support planning for internal events, such as town halls and employee meetings.
  • Ensure all internal communications adhere to DXC's brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Capitalize on real-time opportunities for news-making, brand building, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage stories showcasing client wins, career development, culture, and people aspects across GIS.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to create compelling content and manage multiple communication channels.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams, Adobe Pro, and familiarity with other communication tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the technology or IT services industry.
  • Knowledge of internal communication best practices and trends.
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms, such as intranet software, email marketing tools, and social media.

Work environment: Remote, US

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $63,600 - $118,000.
