Your Opportunity as the Senior Analyst, HRIS

Support the maintenance of Workday, our primary Human Resources Information System (HRIS) in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS team. Serve as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data for process improvement opportunities. Independently own the execution of tasks in addition to supporting team efforts including system upgrades, testing, delivery of HR process training, and other technical projects.

Location: Working Remote USA

In this role you will:

  • Provide support to HRIS team including troubleshooting, analyzing, identifying, and correcting technical problems and deficiencies 

  • Handle technical escalations from the HR Service Delivery team; partner with specialist groups, vendors, and other parties to resolve issues

  • Support the HRIS team with the testing of new features and functionalities throughout the year and during scheduled Workday updates

  • Assist with internal and external integrations to assure they have run successfully and according to requirements

  • Handle difficult retroactive and manual transactions

  • Help maintain data integrity in the system

  • Act as a subject matter expert regarding back-end data/position/organization management processes within the HR systems (e.g., Workday)

  • Develop and provide access to reports, assist in creation of report library

  • Create ad hoc reports for management in select situations  

  • Assure consistency of key performance indicators; data formatting, and related reporting and analytics practices and protocols

  • Train HR organization and end-users – both in-person and using Workday Learning – on new processes and functionality

  • Supports the HRIS Team for HRIS upgrades and projects

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in an HR technology role, HRIS/HRIT position

  • Hands-on experience with an ERP system

  • Basic understanding of general HR processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance requirements

  • Experience with data analysis, data manipulation, database statistics, database structure, and system documentation

  • Experience with Microsoft tools and applications

  • Sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution 

  • Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity to compliance-related matters

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Additional skills and experiences that we think would make someone successful in this role (not required):

  • Experience with Workday is highly valued

  • Experience in an HR technology role supporting a large multi-state company

  • Experience coordinating and/or managing HR technology projects

  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines

  • Able to process complex information and identify solutions that meet both internal and business partner requirements

  • Demonstrate ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations
