This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.
This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.
The anticipated term of this engagement will be 9 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.
CW-Project and Program Management
The Program and Project Management job plans, organizes, and controls resources/processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. Under minimal supervision, this job utilizes general knowledge of the project/business requirements to manage large projects for the organization.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Organizes project teams by assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements necessary to ensure project is successful.
- Managing all aspects of projects. Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of project.
- Estimates the costs, resources, and time required to complete each phase of a project and allocates resources and tasks to ensure these targets are met.
- Implements an established project plan and monitors progress and performance against this plan.
- Monitors the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing.
- Identifies and resolves obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.
- Conducts project meetings and prepares regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.
- Coordinates the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.

Project and Program Management
The Program and Project Management job requires skilled and experienced resource to perform assessments across delivery units, focusing on Solution Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. The job requires a deep understanding of SDLC, a robust background in software delivery and familiarity with technical tools and terminologies.Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of SDLC process across delivery units to ensure compliance with defined SDLC framework.
- Analyze delivery workflows, identify areas of improvement, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across team to gather insights, share findings and implements suggested improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining assessment results, risks, and improvement plans.
- Ensure best practices are adopted across delivery units for consistent quality and efficiency.
- Stay informed about emerging SDLC trends, tools and methodologies and integrate them into assessment and recommendation as required.
- Conduct workshops and training session to improve the delivery unit’s understanding and implement SDLC best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with project management and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to document findings and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and mange multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified with Agile, Scrum, SAFe or related frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate a clearly established vision of what needs to be achieved.
- Experience with quality assurance, process improvement, or risk management withing delivery.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL or other processes improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving, project management, execution, and change management skills.
- Experience leveraging tool sets such as Jira, Jira Align, Power App, Power BI/Tableau and Microsoft Excel.
