The Technology and Projects Executive Division is one of the largest IT functions in Quebec with nearly 7,000 employees. In this executive division, you’re part of a team that supports Desjardins Group’s strategic initiatives and drives modernization. As a Senior Advisor, IT Continuity and Resilience, you help the executive division’s business sectors and teams analyze and manage their IT risks. You produce high-quality reports and give executive-level presentations. You interact with all levels of the organization’s technology management and lines of defence. More specifically, you will be required to:

Give presentations and produce executive reports to summarize assessed risks and recommendations

Supervise and coordinate crisis management at the executive level

Identify and appropriately manage stakeholders in a complex organizational policy environment

Represent your unit before decision-making bodies and lead collaborators in managing the Technology and Projects Executive Division’s business continuity plans

Evaluate IT and business continuity controls, particularly in line with the expectations of our regulators

Assess the likelihood and business impact of IT continuity and resilience risk events occurring (including disruptions to operations and incidents)

Define guidelines and strengthen our understanding of business continuity.

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or engineering

A minimum of eight years of relevant experience

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Knowledge of French is required

Experience managing IT risks or managing the stability of IT services

Knowledge of IT management controls and operational processes

Knowledge of IT infrastructure areas such as cloud computing and networking
