Senior Active Directory & Messaging Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Active Directory and Messaging Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and maintaining on-premises Active Directory environments and hybrid setup. This role requires a deep understanding of Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 and related technologies, as well as the ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain on-premises Active Directory environments, including user and group management, GPOs, and security policies.

Design, implement, and manage hybrid Active Directory setups, integrating on-premises and cloud environments.

Administer and support Exchange Server environments, including mailbox management, email routing, and security.

Monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory and Exchange issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

Lead and participate in projects related to Active Directory and messaging infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and optimizations.

Develop and maintain documentation for Active Directory and messaging environments, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of Active Directory and messaging services.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:

Experience: 5-10 years of experience in managing and maintaining Active Directory and Exchange environments.

Expert Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of on-premises Active Directory, hybrid setup, and Exchange Server.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, and Microsoft Certified: Exchange Server Expert.

Experience with Certificate Authority Services.

Experience with authentication methods.

Experience with ADFS.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, DNS, DHCP, and other related technologies.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead projects.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Office 365 and Azure AD.

Knowledge of other messaging platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Entra ID.

Experience with identity management and single sign-on (SSO) solutions.
