Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including balance sheet account reconciliations, coordination and support for annual audits (internal and external), as well as review of financial reports as needed;
- Prepare reports on the Company’s financial position, including balance sheet and income statement variances, with communication of financial results to management;
- Review monthly financial statements in accordance with Brazilian and U.S. accounting principles – BRGAAP and USGAAP;
- Demonstrate knowledge and coordination in the preparation of budget forecasts for income and cash flow, including proposing improvements to optimize results;
- Improve systems and procedures, as well as initiate corrective actions;
- Review calculation and compliance of direct and indirect taxes, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations;
- Ensure control and proper accounting of additions, disposals, and transfers of fixed assets;
- Analyze expenses, monthly balance sheets, and monthly project profit and loss statements. Review and implement actions resulting from these analyses;
- Ensure that budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met;
- Possess knowledge of Accounts Payable/Receivable processes and Intercompany transactions;
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for the Company's financial development;
- Ensure the accuracy of monthly inventory records;
- Coordinate/supervise the annual physical inventory count or stocktaking;
- Identify and correct discrepancies between accounting, tax data, and physical inventory results;
- Propose improvements to inventory control processes, aiming for greater accuracy in tax and operational records;
- Perform other activities related to the role and work processes.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, administration, economics, finance or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience
- Technical Skills: Office advanced, Power BI intermediate
- Communication: Advanced English
