Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing accounting services for the corporation and maintaining its financial records in compliance with all federal, state, local and professional requirements by performing the following duties:

• Ensure accurate and timely compilation of accounting information, analysis and reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies and procedures.
• Prepares and performs various journal entries and assists Controller with close process.
• Assists in general ledger operations and preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Reviews and reconciles the bank accounts monthly.
• Reviews and reconciles a defined set of accounts monthly.
• Supports the sales team with weekly reporting needs.
• Responsible for build-up and summarization of annual sales budget.
• Calculates monthly sales commissions.
• Assists with preparation and coordination of annual external and bank audits.
• Reporting of Tooling projects costs and billings.
• Manage Fixed Assets and capital projects.
• Tax processes including real estate, personal property, sales/use.
• Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as required.
• May perform other duties as required.

Leadership responsibilities

• Serve as a catalyst for effective teamwork among all plants.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration; and 3 to 5 years of previous accounting experience.

Preferred Skills

• Budgeting, Planning and Analysis
• Excellent Communication Skills (verbal and written)
• Systems experience: high level of Excel proficiency required and Microsoft Office
• Self-directed and motivated with a willingness to accept and own multiple tasks
• Solid ability to understand and research large amounts of data from multiple sources
• Technical accounting background with a high level of detail awareness and problem-solving abilities
• Good organizational skills
• Project Management
• Time Management (ability excel under time constraints)
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
