We are looking for a new team member with a proven sales track record in the semiconductor industry (independent distribution) to join our team in Maidenhead. You will use your knowledge and experience of the industry to expand Smith’s customer portfolio, generating high-revenue projects. 

 

  • Job-type: Full-time 

  • Start date: ASAP  

  • Location: Maidenhead Office

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.    

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.    

  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base in EMEA with your existing customer relationship  

  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs.    

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

Key Requirements:  

  • Must have at least 6+ years of relevant experience within the semiconductor industry (independent distribution)  

  • Fluent in English; fluency in another European language an advantage.  

  • Drive in a fast-paced working environment and work well independently with little managerial involvement 

  • Service and results-oriented 

  • Commitment to customer satisfaction 

  • Ability to maintain customer confidentiality and manage proprietary data 

  • Ability to overcome customer objections
