Senior Account Manager, Crozier [Auction Houses]

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for building, growing and strengthening top tier client relationships to deliver client-oriented solutions across Crozier’s entire portfolio. This individual will be tasked with anticipating and supporting the needs of an assigned set of existing clients, deeply understanding a particular segment and maintaining the highest level of client experience. With a focus on the client, the Senior Account Manager deepens existing customer loyalty and partners with the client to expand our ‘share of wallet’ of their service & storage needs, while developing innovative solutions that anticipate larger market, regional, or segment trends.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Act as main point of contact for multiple clients across an allocated portfolio, while ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction and growing the account in accordance with business goals 

  • Support team leadership through mentorship and training 

  • Refining and implementing account management standards, providing guidance, oversight, training & mentorship to Account Managers and Account Associates 

  • Leads by example to create an open and collaborative team culture, with an emphasis on mutual support and problem solving. 

  • Craft Account Plans, plan Quarterly Business Reviews and execute on all aspects of account and project management to drive account growth 

  • Continuously create and manage a balanced pipeline of opportunities and achieve account growth targets with a balance of service and storage growth opportunities 

  • Works closely with colleagues within Operations and business support functions as well as external partners [such as third party agents] to meet and exceed client expectations at every point in the sales and project lifecycle.

  • Manage a range of service projects, from supporting our clients with their day-to-day transactional needs, to running lead on their more complex, large-scale and International projects, staying within scope and budget 

  • Utilize a consultative approach to determine technical requirements, design solutions, define dependencies, assess risks and build proposals

  • Provide clear and concise directives to operating departments and agents, including collaborating with and briefing teams directly as needed

  • Ensure estimates, work orders and invoices are clear, and that they delineate the required services in chronological order to the specifications of our clients and segment strategies 

  • Actively monitor client accounts AR statuses, work with A2C to resolve billing issues in a timely manner and actively mitigate bad debt through active participation in collection efforts and by implementing protective measures where necessary 

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Proven track record of high performance in Sales, Account and/or Project Management Roles with a minimum of 5 - 10 years experience

  • Experience in consultative/conceptual selling and account management processes is 

  • desirable

  • Experience in sales process, client lifecycle management Global Trade, Project Management workflows or Inventory Management

  • Experience of in-field art handling, inventory, rigging, or other collections care activity  is desirable 

  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across the organization, and easily report to Crozier & Client locations within your market, as needed

  • Strong work ethic with an ability to manage workload while efficiently and effectively prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines 

  • Proactive Strategic thinker and logistics expert who is solutions-oriented with strong problem solving skills

**This position is not Commission-Based and is Bonus Eligible.)

Reasonably expected salary range: $79,200.00 - $105,600.00 + commissions.
