Mission Focus: NT Concepts is seeking an Scrum Master to support the DoD enterprise Military Housing system. This complex system of 34 web-based modules is used by over 10,000 active users to meet the housing needs of over 2.5 million service members, DoD civilians, and their families.
Clearance: Active Secret clearance
Location/Flexibility: Local to the DC Metro Area, Remote Flexible
Responsibilities:
- Facilitates Agile development processes within the team.
- Organizes and facilitates Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Tracks team progress and removes any impediments to ensure the team can meet sprint goals.
- Acts as a liaison between the product owner and development team, ensuring alignment on project priorities.
- Developing and maintain a strong awareness of on-going IT projects, and business unit requirements
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 5 years of experience.
- Active Secret clearance
- Demonstrated capability in managing multi-task projects of this scope and complexity.
- Demonstrated experience working with multiple specialties in a "one-team" environment.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities through prior experience working with senior management to find solutions for customers and leading teams working on different technical disciplines and integrating them into a larger program.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of project management concepts and principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) OR Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 10-15 pounds at times.
