Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Scrum Master to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:

Lead Agile teams for the development effort by conveying the vision to an Agile or Scrum delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value and Government backlog priorities

Help grow a collaborative and continuously improving engineering culture; teach and serve as an example to the team of Scrum and agile values and principles; coach and give feedback to individuals (including senior leadership) and teams; facilitate Scrum Events as a Scrum Master

Deliver effective conflict resolution between individuals and teams

Serve as an expert in estimation and planning techniques; discuss and teach release planning in an empirical environment; and explain the differences between various Scrum Scaling frameworks and approaches

Work across all technical tasks to lead Agile teams and implement agile industry best practices

Establish necessary agile meetings such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, release planning, issue-tracking, and reporting to effectively meet Government-prioritized requirements

Collect and report on agile metrics to support productivity goals while utilizing available agile tools (ServiceNow, JIRA) to present project status information in a dynamic electronic format or other format approved by the customer

After each sprint, the Scrum Master will provide a sprint review presentation that includes a retrospective of metrics on prior sprint activities compared against prior sprints while using available Agile tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA)

Ensure that release plans are up to date before beginning the next sprint while maintaining product backlog in electronic form using existing DevSecOps tools (GitLab, D12E)

Run Agile teams to facilitate a streamlined Tenant Onboarding Process, including tenant cloud architecture reviews evaluating other tenant artifacts such as cost estimates mitigating cost, schedule, and performance risks associated with tenant migration activities

Automate the flow of Project Status facilitating continuous & real-time transparency for effective communication, support, and decision making while helping individual teams clarify goals

Facilitate project development efforts within two-week sprints or mutually agreed upon lengths determined later by Government

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

12+ years years of related work experience
-
Experience advocating modern Agile software development practices such as XP, CI/CD, DVOS, and TDD

Salary Range:
$117,000.00 - $253,300.00
