Job Description:

We seek a Scaled Edge Development Manager to join our team focused on driving Flexential mindshare within key targets. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing and cultivating relationships in addition to identifying New opportunities with enterprise and scale buyers that require deployments of 500 kW or above across our global data center portfolio.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
• Develop and execute outreach targeting Fortune 1000 companies and known buyers of scale data center solutions
• Identify, qualify, and secure appointments with decision-makers and influencers at high-value target accounts
• Build a robust pipeline of Hyperscale and Fortune 1000 opportunities and track future buying motions.
• Represent the company at industry events to expand network and identify new prospects
• Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform product development
• Track sales activities, opportunities and develop detailed targeted account plans to assist with prospecting efforts using Salesforce.com
• Continuously monitor industry trends, market demands, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities with large-scale and enterprise clients.
• Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to understand market positioning and identify gaps or areas of growth for the organization.
• Lead the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and RFP responses to secure new business with enterprise clients.

Required Qualifications    
• 3+ years of progressive business development experience in data center, real estate, or related technology environments.  
• History of success in a team selling environment utilizing Subject Matter Experts
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, or related field (MBA preferred)
• Ability to establish relationships with business decision-makers, buyers and influencers
• Salesforce.com competency

Preferred Qualifications
• Has a proven track record and network of relationships with enterprise IT decision-makers, buyers and influencers
• Understands the technical and business drivers behind infrastructure deployments
• Can articulate the value proposition of strategic data center locations and ecosystem advantages
• Possesses knowledge of power, cooling, and connectivity requirements for modern workloads
• Demonstrates a consultative approach to understanding client business needs

Physical Requirements    
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Walk or stand for 50% of the time
• Moderate or advanced keyboard usage
• Lift 25 lbs.
• Limited travel may be required

Base Pay Range: Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $65,000- $120,000 + commission. However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate’s experience, location, and qualifications.
