Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced SAP FICO Technical Consultant. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, along with a strong background in system implementation, customization, and support. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, business acumen, and excellent communication skills to effectively manage SAP FICO projects and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP FICO module implementations, upgrades, and enhancements by working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Perform detailed analysis, design, configuration, and testing of SAP FICO functionalities to support financial operations and reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms within the SAP FICO domain.
- Provide technical expertise and support for SAP FICO end-users, including troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of FICO modules with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality, and perform application research.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, customizations, and processes.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for users to enhance their understanding and utilization of SAP FICO functionalities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SAP FICO consultant, with a strong focus on technical aspects and project implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including debugging, custom reports, and interface development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- SAP FICO certification is preferred.
