Responsibilities:
As the SAP BTP Community of Practices Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of software and applications related to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and cloud-native solutions. Working closely with stakeholders and external suppliers within our SAP Community of Practices (COP) team, you will identify and deploy the right software and application solutions for the future, with a focus on SAP BTP and best practices.
Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading the program of software renovation within the SAP CoP, with a focus on implementing regional and global strategies, particularly in SAP BTP.
  • Providing input to cross-function controls for software and applications on both regional and global levels.
  • Collaborating with management and overseeing requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
  • Exploring opportunities to leverage scale and drive savings in software and application investments.
  • Ensuring support service level objectives and key performance indicators are achieved.


***Role is 100% remote but would need to have the ability to travel to either Chicago or East Hanover, New Jersey offices.

  • Service delivery, support, and excellence.
  • Program/Project management with experience managing multiple projects for budgets, resources, schedules, and quality overview knowledge of SAP BTP.
  • Expert knowledge in cloud-native technologies and SAP BTP services.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BTP in application and configuration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with global teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate information/data and make decisions effectively.
  • Fluency in English is a must, both conversational and effective communication.
  • General technical background.
  • Understanding of integration and how different applications communicate with each other.
  • Process and service orientation.
  • CPG Business processes experience is a plus.


What You Will Bring to the Role
Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in large SAP ERP implementations across all SAP modules.
  • 5+ years of leading implementation projects 4 or more SAP Platforms such as SAP BTP, cloud-native solutions, etc.
  • Solid experience working with business process leads on streamlining functional requirements to propose standard SAP BTP solutions.
  • At least two full SAP implementation cycles, with at least one of them being in SAP BTP platform.
  • Experience in collecting and optimizing abstract business requirements and translating them into development objects for SAP BTP.
  • Experience with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), integration suite, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to coordinate and supervise the work of multiple workstreams running in parallel.


Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • SAP latest solutions and technologies; AGILE; ITIL; PM, and other relevant certifications.


Travel requirements:

  • 20%
