What you’ll do:

Job Family Definition:

Researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements. Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems. Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies. Typical customers are company end users and various functional areas such as Supply Chain, Research and Development, Marketing, Finance, a business, or the company.

Contributions have visible technical impact on a product or major subcomponent. Applies in-depth professional knowledge and innovative ideas to solve complex problems. Visible contributions improve time-to-market, achieve cost reductions, or satisfy current and future unmet customer needs. Recognized internal authority on key technology area applying innovative principles and ideas. Provides technical leadership for significant project/program work. Leads or participates in cross-functional initiatives and contributes to mentorship and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates as a member of and leads cross-functional development teams. Performs analysis of cross-functional and complex business requirements. Designs complex cross-functional solutions for others to code. Provides mentoring and guidance to other developers.
  • Designs, prepares and executes Unit tests. Sets team strategy and direction; represents team to senior management and client/customers. Develops innovative multi-team solutions to complex problems.
  • A preponderance of time is spent in strategic and creative problem solving. Demonstrates broad technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction; exerts influence outside of immediate team and drives change. Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to manage global maintenance services across various technology areas or functions. Performs solution design.
  • Applies the company and 3rd party technologies and leads design of highly complex infrastructure and software solutions, while driving innovation. Independently implements end- user or enterprise infrastructure or services of significant complexity.
  • Integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for the company and customers. Consults with team members and other organizations, customer and vendors on complex issues. Mentors others in the technology community; may publish or otherwise engage professionally outside of the company.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Typically a technical Bachelor's/Master's degree & a minimum of 15 years of related experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Provide technical and architectural leadership in SAP landscape including S/4 Hana.
  • Help technical SAP team design, develop, implement best in class solutions on S/4 Hana platform for regular and Transformation projects.
  • Work with cross functional team to improve stability and quality of SAP platforms.
  • Conceive, architect and design tools/processes to drive efficiency.
  • Drive future platform upgrade in collaboration with other functional team.
  • Drive best practices, and improve maturity of SAP Technical Competency.
  • Work with TCOE to improve test case coverage, quality and automation.
  • Proficiency in writing complex ABAP code, including modularization techniques, performance optimization, and debugging.
  • Hands-on experience in ECC/SAP HANA and the new ABAP codes, SAP Scripts, smart forms, adobe forms, workflows.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles as applied in ABAP, including ODATA classes, interfaces, BAPI, Badi, etc.
  • Expertise in using the ABAP Data Dictionary to create and manage database objects such as tables, views, data elements, and domains.
  • Familiarity with various SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI, CO) to understand business processes and how ABAP can be utilized to enhance these processes.
  • Knowledge of integrating ABAP with other SAP technologies such as SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and SAP HANA.
  • Evaluate the complex business requirements and provide the technical estimations/solutions.
  • Mentoring the junior resources and helping to scale up.
  • Staying updated with the latest technological advancements and changes in the world of SAP development and adapting to these changes through self-training and research work.
  • Knowledge of advanced ABAP areas such as Cloud ABAP Workflow, cleancore, BTP etc.
  • Knowledge of BTP, Fiori, UI5, and JavaScript. Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD) and their compliance requirements.

Additional Skills:

  • Master Technologist must possess a diverse skill set that encompasses advanced programming capabilities, a deep understanding of SAP systems, and strong soft skills.
  • Should be able to help in designing complex solutions and guiding team members to achieve the desired project goals with in the project timeline.
  • Expertise in SAP integration technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to SAP development teams, ensuring best practices are followed.
