Responsibilities:
- Partner with the functional and technical experts to design, document, and implement Salesforce solutions that aligns with business needs, project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique business needs and challenges.
- Lead and coordinate technical workshops.
- Translate client requirements into effective Salesforce solutions by leveraging your deep knowledge of the platform and best practices.
- Solution Design and Configuration: Design, configure, and customize Salesforce application built in Sales, Service or Experience Cloud to meet business requirements.
- Create technical deliverables such as integration design documents.
- Create estimations and staffing plans based on requirements.
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Implementation: Develop and implement workflows, reports, dashboards, and custom objects within Salesforce.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of the implemented solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, customizations, and processes to ensure compliance and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Salesforce applications, including troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
- Participate in training, and post-implementation support to ensure the successful adoption of the Salesforce platform.
- Manage and Lead engagement teams to deliver projects.
Profile:
- 5+ years of experience in a Senior Salesforce Developer or Architect role.
- 12+ years of professional experience.
- Expert in multiple Salesforce applications, ideally: Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Public Sector Solutions.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and of integrations, single sign-on, security, etc. (MuleSoft, Apigee, Informatica, other API management or ETL tools are a plus).
- Proficient in Salesforce Configuration, Customization, Apex Programming, VisualForce, Lightening Framework, SOQL, SOSL, Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP), CI/CD pipeline, AppExchange, Version Control, Data Management, release management, Design and Build enablement, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and JQuery
- Experience in designing and implementing custom solution using Salesforce Objects, workflows, validation rules, Approval processes, sharing rules, Visualforce pages, Apex classes, controllers & triggers, Salesforce lightening components, front end web technologies and various other components.
- Experience in data migration and mass data loads.
- Multiple Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Platform Developer 1, Salesforce Service / Experience Cloud Consultant, Public Sector Solutions).
- Experience with international and virtual teams.
- Consulting skills: ability to guide customers in making the best decisions in their context.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges.
- Ability to manage stakeholders to get to the desired outcome.
- Self-starter, accountable and meeting commitments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with clients, colleagues and with Salesforce.
- Pre-sales experience for proposals and demos for prospects.
- Knowledge of the Agile Scrum methodology.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Fluent in Dutch and English is mandatory.
