Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Salesforce QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves ensuring the quality and efficiency of our Salesforce implementations and solutions. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Salesforce environments, adept in various testing methodologies, and committed to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications, focusing on various Salesforce modules such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of Salesforce solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects and issues found during testing.
  • Utilize Salesforce’s sandbox environments for testing purposes and ensure alignment with production environments.
  • Implement automation testing strategies using tools like Selenium, JMeter, or similar, to increase efficiency and coverage of tests.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure that these are accurately translated into test scenarios.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, including planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups, to stay aligned with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Maintain clear and detailed documentation of all testing processes, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices and procedures within the organization.
  • Stay updated with the latest Salesforce updates and features, ensuring that testing strategies and practices are aligned with these changes.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members, helping to elevate the overall skill level of the team.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, specifically in Salesforce environments.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and its modules.
  • Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium or JMeter.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder are a plus.
